Thoughts of love, passion, & peeves
My Dad saw the movie Son of God, He knows it’s just a movie, but to some people it’s a real life story. However, he said it was hard for him to imagine European Caucasians portraying biblical characters of the original people of Africa. Paul wrote to the Corinthians that it’s a shame for a man to have long hair. The original Jesus had nappy short hair, like wool the bible says. All this is from the bible isn’t it?
Careful what you say
The wife’s car broke down, so she asked her husband if she could get their neighbor to fix it, since he was handy with cars. So the wife went ahead and got the neighbor to fix her car. When the neighbor was done she gave him a dollar and invited him in and had sex with him.
The husband came home and caught them in the act. The husband got very angry and said, “What the hell is going on here, he was only supposed to fix your car?”
The wife said, but honey when I asked you how much to pay him, you said “f*ck him, give him a dollar.”
What The Eyes See; What The Ears Hear;
The Mind Believes. It’s Called Misdirection.
Thought Is Real, The Physical Is The Illusion.
If reverend equals God, and doctor equals science, the combination is an oxymoron.
Oxymoron - a combination of contradictory words (defined by Webster)
Justice is not blind
Hatred + Gun = Murder
The Church, Sanctuary or Business
Am I the only one to notice that these so-called houses of God, that you call churches, don’t offer refuge to the poor during major catastrophes? You would think with all their millions in the bank, they can afford it.
A Tribute to What?
A 50 year tribute to the Beatles, why? I still don’t see the musical talent here. They couldn’t sing. Kids today say the same thing about the Beatles. They love Justin Bieber, R Kelly, Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke, John Legend, and Britney Spears; and if we go back to that era, would we include the Beatles with the Temptations, Marvin Gaye or Michael Jackson? There were others from England that could sing: Procol Harum, The Righteous Brothers, Tom Jones, but the Beatles?
Is someone now-a-days justified in murdering someone for playing loud music? The sentiment now is, “I have a gun and I’m not taking no crap, especially from a black guy.”
No one likes loud noises; I don’t like loud rap, loud country, or loud anything. I’ll just move beyond the sound range; but to shoot someone, no way. It takes someone from the pits of h*ll to do such a thing. The shooter will get off though. George Zimmerman, transit police in Frisco, Suburban home owner in Michigan and one in North Carolina: they all shot an African American unjustified, which is murder. They all are or will be set free. Sad. In this country you can kill a black guy but you cannot kill a dog. Ask Michael Vick.
